Indiana's Alpaca Outfitter, LLC and The Yarn Cat, LLC offer Indiana and the surrounding areas products made from natural fibers. We offer alpaca items, many homegrown in Indiana including yarns and rovings, hand-crafted accessories and wearables. The yarn Cat offers a wide array of yarns specializing in natural fiber yarns like cotton, wool, bamboo, corn, and soy silk (just to name a few!). These yarns are Earth-friendly and a joy to work with (especially with alpaca!). The Yarn Cat has spiced up the shop with a variety of interesting buttons, hand-crafted shawl pins, knitting supplies, and novelty yarns as well.
Come by the shop to learn why Alpacas have been cherished for THOUSANDS of years! Even though alpaca fiber was once only reserved for royalty and high-end fashion houses, we are making it available to everyone, at affordable prices too!
Our shop at the American Countryside Farmers Market is open on Thursdays through Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Please come and share in the excitement with us if you are in the area.
The Farmers Market is just south of the US 20 bypass and a convenient 1.5 hours from eastern Chicago! As well as products, we offer demonstrations, classes, alpaca knowledge and good company! We’d love for you to stop by for a visit.
