Indiana's Alpaca Outfitter, LLC was formed by 2 local alpaca farms to provide Southern Michigan & Northern Indiana with quality products made from the miraculous, and Eco-Friendly alpaca fiber. We offer custom, gourmet yarn and rovings made from our personal herds, as well as many hand crafted finished products such as blankets, socks, outdoor accessories and apparel, felted items, and the softest teddy bears imaginable! Between our 2 farms we have more than 11 years of experience with alpacas and their luxurious fiber. We enjoy educating anyone interested about the fiber arts and these wonderful creatures.
Our shop at the American Countryside Farmers Market is open on Thursdays through Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please come and share in the excitement with us if you are in the area. The Farmers Market is just south of the US 20 bypass and a convenient 1.5 hours from eastern Chicago! As well as products, we offer demonstrations, classes, alpaca knowledge and good company! We’d love for you to stop by for a visit!
Local Alpaca Farms Celebrate
“National Alpaca Farm Days”

(Lakeville),
Imperial Alpacas (Middlebury), and Turkey Creek Alpacas (Milford) will
participate in the 2nd Annual “National Alpaca Farm Days”
On September 27, alpaca
breeders from across the United States and Canada will invite the public to
come to their farm or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about these
inquisitive, unique animals. From
8:00 to 5:00, Our 3 farms invite guests to join them to visit with the
alpacas and take advantage of the many activities that day at the American
Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart. Activities including fiber arts
demonstrations, hands on with the alpacas, mini-educational seminars and
information, all FREE! In addition, the Harvest Festival is taking place at
the market this same weekend – plenty to do, lots of alpacas, and a
wonderful place to shop, all within easy reach!
The American Countryside
Farmers Market is located at 27751 County Road 26 – at the southwest
corner of Hwy 20 and SR 19 in Elkhart.
